July 31, 2010. The annual PEP picnic is scheduled for Monday, August 16, 2010. Activities begin at 6 PM. As has been the case for the last several years, the picnic will be held at Firemen’s Memorial Park in Aspinwall.

All PEP members and friends are invited to this time of fellowship, food, and fun. We will end the picnic with an outdoor Eucharist.

By six o’clock, the coals in the grill will be hot. Bring something to grill and something to share. Alcohol is allowed in the park, so feel free to bring your favorite potable along if you like.

The park is best reached from the Highland Park Bridge or Route 28. From either the bridge or Route 28, take the Aspinwall exit and head north (west) toward Aspinwall on Freeport Road. At the second light (Center Ave.), turn left and go up Center to 9th Street. Turn left and go one block. The park entrance is at the end of 9th, with a parking lot and picnic pavilion immediately adjacent. The pavilion is handicapped accessible.
